Applying for an Indian Visa


You will need the following to apply for a six month multiple-entry Indian tourist visa.

  1. Passport: Make sure your passport is valid for a minimum of six months from the date of your visa application and that it has two blank visa pages.
  2. Two identical passport-sized photos
  3. Proof of address/residence: A photocopy of your driver's license or utility bill will suffice.
  4. Total Fee: $93 for the six month multiple-entry tourist visa, which includes the processing fee and return shipping fee.*

  • *Fees can be paid online with Visa or Mastercard, or by money order enclosed with the application.

  • Make sure you allow at least four weeks. It takes about five business days to process the application, plus the time in the mail.

  • Mail completed requirements to the appropriate jurisdiction, via a trackable method such as FedEx, UPS, DHL or registered mail.
